COLLECTION 7: Bespoke Series

Are you ready for the Collection 7 Day 3 release? We sure hope so – lots more fun goodies are in the line up and we can’t wait to share them with you! Let’s get started with the third reveal day for the new Collection 7 release…

Bespoke Series

____________________________________________________________________

If you are new to Clear and Simple Stamps releases, we pack in a ton of new inspiration each and every day.  Release days carry a theme, and today we are introducing the {Bespoke Series} – which essentially means “made to order”. We hope today’s release will definitely inspire you to create custom, CSS stamped masterpieces…

  • Writer’s Desk {$24}
  • Includes (41) stamps
  • This set has a vintage style typewriter alphabet

You can never go wrong with a notebook page image. We paired it with the fun text banner for a bold focal point. And added a simple sentiment…

  • Writer’s Desk Too {$24}
  • Includes (25) stamps
  • This set has a repeatable punctuation background, a decorative banner, holiday icons, and much more

We love that this background repeats. It makes covering larger areas very easy to do. With such a fun background we opted for a cute and simple word bubble…

  • Alpha Monogram {$72}
  • Includes (91) stamps
  • Due to the size, this set consists of (3) sets:
    • Set 1 of 3: A – L
    • Set 2 of 3: M – X
    • Set 3 of 3: Y, Z, and icons

There is so much to love about this set. It is very versatile, and definitely an alphabet you will reach for often! Here we created custom monogrammed soap bars with our clear stamps. These make great gifts…

The mini version is also great for smaller areas…

This fun set of leaves can create a variety of designs. Here we used it to ground our Happy Birthday sentiment…

We love sets that build! This is one of MANY options you can create. The fun is discovering a new way to layer…

And we continue with fun layering options for summer. Since we are located in Maryland, it was only natural to opt for a nautical themed card…

As we continue with the seasons, the fall set has a fab mix of leaves, wheat, vines, and twigs for a lovely rustic look…

And we couldn’t forget winter with its boughs of holly and mistletoe, and big beautiful wreath bows…

We hope you have enjoyed Day 3 of the Collection 7 release! Below are peeks from our designers, who have some exciting projects to share with you!

 The Bespoke Series is now available for purchase [here]

H-app-y Mother’s Day Gift

____________________________________________________________________

Today’s project is brought to you by designer Tracy Schultz:

“Flowers are always a wonderful gift to give, but plants make an even better one. Especially those that the recipient can put in her garden that will come back year after year. They need very little dressing up- just a simple tag with ribbon in a bucket or pot, a matching card, and you have a gift set that can be given almost all year round.”

Floral Note Cards

____________________________________________________________________

Today we are having a little fun with florals. For this set of note cards we reached for the Build-a-Flower set and a mix of Spring colors. Its super fun to pair color combos to make a set of notecards work, especially if you are not a fan of repetition and want your cards to each have a different look.

Yesterday we shared a bit of creative masking {here}, and today we are continuing by masking the photo frame image from Crafty Sentiments with the smaller bloom and leaves from Build-a-Flower.

For our second card, we adore the look of gingham and flowers so we decided to create a card with just that – Gingham masked along the left edge of the large bloom from Build-a-Flower.

A springy mix will certainly brighten someone’s day. Try mixing your Clear and Simple Stamps florals and pattern stamp sets to create a set of note cards to send happy thoughts.

{CSS FAVORITES}

What’s that old saying…”April showers bring May flowers”? Well today, we are pushing fast forward right past those rainy days and having fun with a new floral set that has been added to the CSS Favorites collection: Build-a-Flower. You may be very familiar with the coordinating Build-a-Flower dies as seen in this post or this one, and we are happy to release a matching stamp set.

In addition, we also have a special guest (or two) joining in today’s release day fun…

____________________________________________________________________

Happy Thoughts

____________________________________________________________________

Springtime definitely brings about happy thoughts. We love having fresh cut flowers in the office and longer, warmer days. So we wanted to capture a little bit of spring, package it up, and send happy thoughts on their way with a fun note card set.

The big blooms in the Build-a-Flower set make creating a background a breeze. Once the blooms and leaves were stamped, each bloom was masked off and the entire panel was stamped with a grid pattern from the Lattice set.

For the largest bloom, it was die cut from the Build-a-Flower dies and then stamped with the coordinating image and adhered with dimensionals. A sentiment was then added to complete the card.

Instead of our A4 Envies, we opted for a soft, natural, muslin fabric bag. The bag was stamped with a single bloom to coordinate with the card. A sentiment was stamped below the bloom and a Tags 1 hang tag tied to the strings.

All packaged and ready to go – happy thoughts coming your way!

Well, Chaitali has taken this concept from the kitchen to the craft room with a fun Build-a-Flower edition. Be sure to visit both ladies as they go head to head using the new Build-a-Flower stamp set and coordinating dies. Let the battle of the craft rooms begin!

Peel + Stick Card Set

___________________________________________________________________

Stickers never grow old…they just become a bit more sophisticated as we grow up. They make the leap from stickers to “peel + stick” embellishments. Although those cute, A.A. Milne Winnie the Pooh stickers will always have a special home in our crafty stash. But today we are making room for peel + stick embellishments made from dies that will help turn card making into a simple task, especially when you are short on time.

Die cutting is a great way to add dimension to a project. Pair die cutting with our Simple Adhesives and you now have instant stickers!

Simply adhere the adhesive to one side of your cardstock, layer your dies, and cut. Each die cut is now a peel + stick embellishment that you can color, emboss, and even change the texture by adding glitter, flocking, and microbeads. You can also cut them from felt, cork, fabric, wood veneer sheets…you name it – almost anything goes.

Simple Adhesive comes in a variety of sizes, to even include full sheets and the new 1″ roll.

Once you have a good hearty collection of die cut, peel and stick shapes, you can quickly add coordinating stamped images in any color to match your project.

We combined a few peel + stick images to create this note card set. Since they are pre-cut, we stamped a few with coordinating Flower Buds images and layered them all together against a border design for the Glassine Bag envie. Even the Border: Eyelet was cut as a peel + stick embellishment, which is great for having perfectly aligned adhesive for intricate cuts.

For the inside card, we mimicked the card design by adding a few more peel + stick embellishments to the bold, graphic Designer Lines striped card base.

To seal the Glassine Bag envie closed we created a bit of paper tape to match. Here are the supplies we used, but be sure to visit with us on Thursday, for a fab step-by-step tutorial on how to make your own custom stamped paper tape.

With 165 yards on each roll of Simple Adhesive, it’s super fun to find new ways to get the most out of your adhesive. Scroll down to visit with the design team for more sticky inspiration…

Send a sweet care package this winter to let loved ones know you are thinking about them…

____________________________________________________________________

Rag Doll Woodlands

____________________________________________________________________

With the first series released in Collection 6, we knew pairing our Rag Dolls Scenes 1 with the birch tree backgrounds would make for a fun, winter-woodlands theme.

We started by creating a CAS-style note card set with our Rag Doll Carlie: Missed stamps. Since the images in the Rag Doll Scenes 1 are over-sized, we masked off the words from the Rag Doll image so that she would rest on top of the cute mushroom.

Next we die cut the A4 Envie Liner from plain typing paper, stamped the Reverse Birch Trees background in Pressed Greige Linen ink, and adhered it to the inside of a Kraft Like a Rockstar A4 envelope.

We thought it would be fun to create a sweet treat to send along with the card. Enter mushroom cookies – how fun to have cookies that looks like the real thing!

To package the cookies, we cut a 2 7/8″ x 2″ panel of  Kraft Green felt to line the bottom of the Clear Candy Bag. Two cookies were placed inside the bag, and a stamped Topper cut from Brown Leather Satchel cardstock was adhere to close the bag. A Favor Flags banner was die cut from A Blanc Check cardstock was stamped with the sentiment “mushroom” from Fun Fungi and “cookies” from Favor Flags in Haute Red Couture ink.

To create your own Mushroom Cookies you can download the PDF recipe. (A helpful hint…twist your bottle into the cookie gradually to maintain the mushroom stem shape.)

This tasty, woodlands inspired treat + Rag Doll note card makes for a great thinking of you gift.

Flowers For You

___________________________________________________________________

We created a fun party favor for today’s project. We used a background bar from the Flower Garden stamp set. The red buds were stamped on the lid of the favor, and the green stems were stamped on the base. When assembled they line up perfectly to create a sweet floral pattern around the party favor box. A coordinating tag was tied on with Red/White twine to complete the project. We hope you are inspired to create something with red flowers today – Happy Red Roses Day!

Style Watch {Crafty Spring}

Lotions, perfumes, scrubs and soaps…I must confess, I love all pretty smellies! Recently, I picked up a few hand-cut bars of organic goat’s milk soap from a local Ontario farm just outside of Toronto.  After picking out my soaps, I wrapped them in wax paper to preserve them.  I also bought a few extras to share with my girlfriends. It’s such a sweet and simple gift and so fun to create custom wraps. Each wrapped bar turns into a special treat that can be given away for any occasion…

__________________________________________________________________________________

Sweet Luxury : Style Board Inspiration

__________________________________________________________________________________

Each bar of organic soap is slightly different from the next.  Sort of like crafting – no two are the exact same, which makes them so unique. Since I picked these up on a farm I wanted to play to the organic and natural elements in my design and give my friends a little souvenir from my visit.

The Collection 3 release offers so many options for fabulous packaging, but I could not resist using Au Naturel – it was a perfect fit for these simple vintage labels. Give custom wraps a try on your next gift giving opportunity…

Make it Stylish – Ayanna
