Today we are combining food with function…jellybeans count as a food group right?! Crafting with sweets is always fun, and makes for tasty snacks along the way – make sure you have extra on hand to nibble on through the creative process…

You’ll need just a few supplies to get you started:

2014 Calendar Tags PDF | Pretty in Peach Ink | Pretty in Peach Cardstock | A Blanc Check Cardstock | Sheerly Chic Cardstock | Gold/White Twine | Circles Plus | Alpha Monogram | File It: Calendar | Sweet Sentiments | Party Favor 2 Die | Bottle Tag Die | Jellybeans

We love to use the 2014 Calendar Tags PDF download to create beyond simple tags. By printing the calendars onto Sheerly Chic Cardstock we created a fun insert to turn the Party Favor 2 Die into a sweet little treat box.

Fill the favor box with a seasonal snack – we chose peach flavored jellybeans…kind of a favorite around here this time of year! The calendar inset holds the treats securely in place, while we added a bit of Gold/White Twine and a polka dot stamped lid insert using Circles Plus to embellish the box.

For the outside lid, we created a spring monogram for the month of April using Alpha Monogram.

The monochromatic crest is stamped in Pretty in Peach Ink onto a wide die cut banner, which is cut from the pocket of the Bottle Tag Die. And the File It: Calendar stamp set is the perfect fit to add the month name to the popped up banner.

Getting creative with seasonal snacks is a fun way to enjoy being crafty this Spring. Pair it with a functional gift and you’ve instantly created a two-for-one treat!

As far as I’m concerned, Alpha Monogram should win “Stamp Set of the Year.”  I may be slightly biased, since I love to slap a monogram on just about everything…which is exactly why I’m excited about today’s post.

I’m sharing another “from pin to paper” project. Back when Alpha Monogram launched, the CSS blog featured a monogram soap project (here) which I absolutely loved! Today, I’m bringing you a holiday version of this project…

Style Watch

I simply could not let this month end without doing a “Christmas in July” post! The style of today’s project is a bit vintage, and a slight departure from my usual aesthetic but I love it all the same.

For today’s project, I’ve combined a bit of the old with a bit of the new…

You know how much I love the monograms from Collection 7, so I paired them with some of my favorite items in the Clear and Simple Stamps product line. The banner dies and doily die are made for each other and you are going to love how they come together in a Christmas-sy, double-duty banner.

In celebration of the CSS Daily App, we have 25 Days of inspiration. That’s right we are bringing the App to the blog! Each day the design team will feature fun projects and for an added bonus we will have a coordinating project on the app – it’s a great way to see even more fab inspiration using your Clear and Simple Stamps.

We couldn’t let 25 days of inspiration pass without asking illustrator Stephany Zerbe to join in on the fun:

“These Large Print Alpha letter dies are the perfect size for big projects like this travel bag. I love monogramming things for my kids! And I can’t get enough of the filler images we have at Clear and Simple Stamps. This Build-a-Flower set was perfect for coordinating with the sewing projects I made.”

Visit with illustrator Stephany Zerbe as she shares how to incorporate your dies into trendy, fashionable accesories…

Be sure to check out the bonus project on the CSS Daily App!
