Hip hip hooray for a little Rosé! That’s been our mantra around here all summer long, and we have to admit we really love a good Rosé. Well what’s not to love? It has a pretty pink color, gives off a sweet taste and smell, not to mention the fun bubbly effervescents – it’s a perfect summer treat for grown ups. Hey, adulting is hard! We need a little reprieve every now and again – we just happen to take ours with pink bubbles.
Every now and then you may just need a little something stronger than coffee in your cup. We definitely promote drinking responsibly and in cute hand-crafted style. With Summer in full swing, fruit flavored martinis are the perfect way to toast the warmer months and treat yo’ self to a tasty beverage.
Summer fruits are the perfect muse for cute little gift bags. And cute gift bags are exactly what we are creating in the studio today – Pineapple Favor Bags to be exact! And we are kind of excited about them, not only because they are adorable but also because we get to add a little punny fun into the mix.
Sunshiney weather deserves crafting in a fun sunshiney color! We are crushing on the Y-01 | Say Yellow to All Your Fans color story, which is perfect for bringing a bit of sunshine into our craft studio. This cheerful color will brighten up any project and add a vibrant dose of happy. We love that […]
Father’s Day is quickly approaching and we have the perfect gift for Dad! If your dad is anything like ours, then he’ll love this tasty daddy’s day treat. In our house, it’s a well known fact that our dad indulges in a snack or two…or two dozen! His favorite munchie you ask? Popcorn. He loves any and every kind of popcorn, so we’re sharing a simple project from our pop to yours…
We are getting all wrapped up in the holiday season, and created a fun trio of Christmas cards for gifting. We love to use our stamps in a variety of ways so that we can get multiple uses out of them. It’s super fun to discover a new way to use a stamp set or a single image to create a new look.
To start, we chose the adorable large gift image from the Rag Doll Scenes 2 stamp set as our main focal image for this card set. It’s fun to stamp as a single image, to fussy cut it into two pieces for a box top and bottom, and to mask it for adding lots of gifts in one stamped scene.
We paired the Rag Doll Scenes 2 gift image with fun, holiday sentiments from the All Wrapped Up stamp set. It’s great for gift giving all year round, and has some perfect sayings especially for the holidays.
Our three different designs make for simple holidays cards that are easy to reproduce but provide fun options when coloring to make each image stand out all on it’s own. We went with a bright and cheerful trio of cards for a vibrant holiday color story.
By altering a single stamped image we were able to create a trio of festive holiday cards. Our favorite may be this pretty gift box that we cut along the lid. We have a sentiment and a trail of stars coming out from the opened gift, but you could easily add all sorts of images – like a heart for Valentine’s Day, or a Balloon floating up for a birthday, or even a sweet little stuffed animal image just for fun.
Have fun creating and altering stamped images for exploring and stretching your stamps this holiday.

The gang is all here and ready to celebrate the weekend watching the new Peanuts Movie! To say we were pretty excited when we found out about this movie doesn’t quite do it justice. We were prepared to be first in line with our popcorn and snacks in tow for the adventures of Charlie Brown and company to entertain us all day long.
In prep for a super fun movie outing, we thought it would be awesome to create mini Peanuts Movie inspired note cards – including one for Charlie Brown’s sweetheart the little red-haired girl! Love that we get to see her in real life.
Whenever we think mini note cards, we immediately grab our A3 Stationery Dies. They create the perfect 3″ square card and envelope set. For these Peanuts Movie inspired notes we simply used the envelope and the liner dies.
And how cute are these liners? A custom liner for each character equals major fun, and we have it as a free download to share with you [here]!
Print these cute liners out with a laser printer and foil them for a bit of added shimmer. We even love the left over negative from foiling – you could certainly use both as adorable envelope liners for the character note cards.
Now that we have the envies all prepped and ready, let’s assemble the gang. And we’ll warn you now – this Peanuts inspired stationery set is ridiculously cute! Each Peanuts character has such a distinct style that we had the best time mixing and matching stamps and dies to recreate each look on the mini notes.
There are several tips and tricks to creating each character note card and we’ll take you through each one. What we love most about these abstract note cards (besides the mega cute factor) is that they come together so easily, and make a great gift set for any Peanuts lover!
How lovable are each of these adorable character cards?! The new Peanuts movie is super cute, and has certainly inspired a handful of creative projects and parties you just may see pop up on the blog in the future (wink, wink)!
It’s National Candycorn Day and we’re sharing a simple way to turn your Shapes Series of stamps and dies into a holiday treat by adding a bit of color. We’ll warn you, that once you start making these little candycorn cuties you will cut and color a lifetime supply…it’s that easy!
In order to be accurate with our coloring, we needed a bit of inspiration – that and we have a serious sweet tooth, so any excuse to craft with candy is always welcomed in the office.
If you follow us on Instagram you might recognize this quick tip on coloring candycorn. We love sharing behind the scenes peeks at upcoming projects, so be sure to follow us and join along in our creative journey [here].
Turning triangles into candycorn is a quick and simple process. We drew a faint pencil line as a guide, but you can certainly freehand your coloring. Grab your markers and add wide bands of color. Start with yellow on the bottom then add your band of orange for a cutely papercrafted piece of candycorn.
It’s so much fun to play with shapes in an unexpected way to create for the holidays. Cut and color a single image or play around with a handful of paper candy to create a pair of sinfully delicious note cards.
Shop this project [here] and add to your holiday stash – triangles are great for cute Christmas trees too.
