Clear and Simple Stamps | Hello Monster Bash

Clear and Simple Stamps | Hello Monster BashHalloween is just a few short days away. Are you ready for a spooky good time? We sure are but our form of spooky happens to border along the lines of super duper cute Little Monsters! Not only are these monsters fun to color, they love to have a good time. Who says monster have to be scary? We actually prefer them a bit playful and cuddly, especially when creating fun party invitations.

To set the scene for this Monster Bash, we created with a mix of these CSS sets from our stamping stash:

We love that the Up and Away set comes with so many balloon string choices. The partial string images allows for fun placement and can turn any image into having a tied on balloon string.

Clear and Simple Stamps | Hello Monster BashAfter all, what’s a party without balloons…or sweet treats? Color coordinated sweet treats to be exact. Nothing sets the mood for a good time better than pre-party snacks that match your color story.

Clear and Simple Stamps | Hello Monster Bash - Pillow Box LIner KitCarry your colors throughout the Monster Bash invitation suite and incorporate a matching envie liner. CSS Giftwrap creates a lovely light-weight liner that can be cut using the A4 Envie Liner die and coordinates perfectly.

Clear and Simple Stamps | Hello Monster Bash - custom envelope linersYou will have a ton of fun creating these invitations. To mix it up a little, try masking different monsters behind the word “hello”, or personalize each invitation with the guest’s name instead of the word “hello”. There are lots of adorable options for creating a monster good time…

Clear and Simple Stamps | Leafy Ladybug Tags DIY

Clear and Simple Stamps | Leafy Ladybug Tags DIYWhenever there is candy and cute mason jars involved, you can pretty much expect a fun project is in the works! We grabbed a few bags of one of our favorites – sour cherry candies, and a simple DIY was underway.

Clear and Simple Stamps | Leafy Ladybug Tags DIY suppliesWe are completely obsessed with these leafy images from the Tags 3 Fillers stamp set, and immediately knew we wanted to use them with the adorable little ladybug image from the Well Preserved Jars: Cute as a Bug stamp set. You have to admit it, leaves and ladybugs are a perfect pairing.

Clear and Simple Stamps | Leafy Ladybug Tags DIYWe stamped the images in Green with Envy ink onto A Blanc Check cardstock, then die cut them using the larger Tags 3 die. We love the slim look of this fun tag, especially hanging down the side of each mason jar.

Clear and Simple Stamps | Leafy Ladybug Tags DIYAfter the tags were cut, we stamped the ladybug image right onto the leafy area of the tag in Perfect Little Black Dress ink. Next we colored in each image with markers and added a quick hint of highlights with a white gel pen to complete our little ladybugs.

Clear and Simple Stamps | Leafy Ladybug TagsAll that is left is to punch a tiny hole at the top and thread with our Natural Cotton Twine.  (Enabler Alert: this twine is everything! It comes as a 1/2 pound spool – yes a full half pound of cotton twine that you can use on just about anything and it will last you quite a while. A definite must have in your crafty stash.)

A simple and sweet DIY that would be great for gifting or handing out as a party favor. Be sure to check out our Cute as a Bug Collection Guidebook for more fun projects and inspiration.

Clear and Simple Stamps | Summersicles - a DIY popsicle summer treat

Clear and Simple Stamps | Summersicles - a DIY popsicle summer treatEnjoy the sweet taste of summer with a pop of color when crafting these adorable summersicle treats!

Growing up we loved popsicles, so when we spotted these hard candy versions we had to have them. And by “had to have” we mean at least one in every flavor, even if it meant driving to multiple stores. The struggle is real, and we are no quitters when it comes to rounding up sweets.

While the original packaging served it’s purpose, we wanted something a bit cuter and more interactive. Our Party Favor 7 box was a perfect fit. Simply cut off the bottom flap and we instantly created a sleeve for housing these fun candy popsicles.

Clear and Simple Stamps | Summersicles - a DIY popsicle summer treat how-to slider packagingWe decorated each sleeve by stamping colorful stripes and adorned them with adorable fruit images to match the hand-stamped flavors on the sticks using the Perfect Harvest Sentiments stamp set. Loving how great our CSS Hybrid Ink stamps on the wood to create a crisp impression for pretty packaging.

Clear and Simple Stamps | Summersicles - a DIY popsicle summer treatNeedless to say the Blue Raspberry was one of the first to get eaten. It was a popular flavor in the office. Cherry and Green Apple were a close second…but let’s be honest, none of these lasted long!
