The countdown to Christmas has begun, and we are openly admitting that we are still prepping and mailing out our Christmas cards. Anyone else find that they are coming up against the clock to get your holiday cards out before Santa comes shimmying down the chimney? Well have no fear, we are sharing a simple and fun card to create using our Flurry Days stamp set.
With (9) variations of snowflakes included in this stamp set, it offers so many options for creating a wide assortment of holiday and winter themed projects. Ranging from large to small in size, each flurry is perfect for fun accents and building your own backgrounds.
Since time is of the essence, we choose a fairly simple design and punched it up with a bit of doodling. We started by selecting a rainbow of colors to create a cheerful assortment of holiday cards. You could certainly choose any colors you’d like, we opted for nice pops of color.
Once our colors were chosen, we simply stamped our Flurry Days images in the coordinating ink color in a random pattern to fill the card front. Each panel was then layered onto a white card base. We grabbed our trusty white gel pen and started to add a few accents to each panel.
Such a simple and fun card that you can whip up and get in the mail just in time for the holidays! Get started today, and shop this project [here]. Remember, Monday, December 19th is the last day to order for UPS Ground delivery in time for Christmas…
