With only two weekends remaining to get your Halloween crafted treats all set the pressure is on! Luckily, we have just the project to help you get prepared for the holiday. Get ready to Trick-or-Treat Yo’ Self with a simple diy Halloween favor bag. Now these treat bags are a bit too cute to spook but your trick-or-treaters will absolutely adore them!
Creating treat bags that are easy to grab and go will certainly be a hit in the neighborhood. The Party Favors Ribbon Handle Bags paired with a stamped Labels 13 panel set the stage for little hands to load up on candy snacks to fill their favor bags.
Assembly takes no time at all since this party favor is a simple single cut die. This means you can create the entire favor from one cut. No need to fuss with trying to piece together multiple cuts. And with just one strip of Simple Adhesive your favors are ready to be decorated. We also added a strip to the bottom flap of the bag for when we use heavier favors for added support…you know if we decide to sneak in a few more candies and extra treats than we originally planned!
We chose a classic color story that is perfect for the occasion: GR-04 | In the Limelight, N-02 | Perfect Little Black Dress, O-02 | Orange You Fabulous, N-01 | A Blanc Check, and a tiny hint of V-04 | Vintage Label Lilac. We love the shadow effect created by adding the purple shading. It’s a great way to add a simple detail to any sentiment and also make your images pop. If you want to see more projects using these colors simply click on the color story circles located at the top of this post, or on the sidebar. You can also view our By Color page to see all the CSS Signature colors [here].
Be sure to stock up on the “good” candy to add to your favor bags. Or even add in a few non-candy surprises like stickers, pencils, and erasers for the little ones, and consider gift cards for older kids and/or adults. And while you are at it, Trick-or-Treat Yo’ Self to a few new CSS goodies to add to your stamping stash and shop this project [here].
