Gift giving is an art. It’s a creative way to express sentiments of gratitude, and we’re sharing a fun way to show our appreciation with coffee. You may or may not know our teeny, tiny love for cute puns. When creating this project we reached right for the “thanks a latte” sentiment in the Morning Brew: Coffee stamp set – it’s a perfect fit for this simple DIY gift basket.
With a theme like coffee, the good news is that you can pretty much find what you need any time of the year. You can also dress it up for any occasion with seasonal coffee flavors, or decorative ribbon for the basket.
We kept things fairly monotone and pulled our color combo from the adorable Starbucks gift card included in our coffee basket. Is it just us, or do you find yourself admiring the Starbucks gift card section with all the cute designs and options to choose from? It’s almost like you want to buy the gift cards just to collect them. Luckily you can create your coffee gift baskets to meet any theme and should have no trouble finding a gift card to suit your needs!
And what every gift basket needs is a super cute, mini note of thanks. This card recipe is simple: adorable coffee bean image + punny sentiment and there you have it…a super cute mini note card and matching envelope of course.
Add all your coffee themed items including your mini thank you card to the basket, and wrap with a pretty ribbon. All that’s left to do is adding in a stylish beverage cup, which is pretty much a necessity when saying thanks a latte!
