COLLECTION 8: File It Series

Welcome to the party! More like the party before the party, because every event (no matter how big or small) starts with a bit of planning and preparation. It all begins with a single idea to celebrate an event, a milestone, a moment to remember.

We love to party, but more so we love to plan parties.  Researching an idea, creating a storyboard, and pulling all of the elements together to create a memorable experience is such a thrill. With the new File It: Party stamp set, friends and family will think you have some serious party planning super powers!

  • File It: Party {$24}
  • Includes (59) stamps
  • Client index and build-able checklists stamps

This set puts the “plan” in party planner! Create a snapshot of any event and a great keepsake all at the same time. The build-able checklist images can easily double as a guest list, shopping list, or to-do list….after all if you are into organization, you are definitely a list maker!

It’s a bird. It’s a plane. It’s a Glitter and Gold Super Hero(ine) Party! Why should the boys have all the fun leaping over buildings and cape crusading? This back-to-school season we are hosting a girl power session of super chic fun for an after-school play date.

We started by gathering up a few supplies as inspiration for the party, and theme followed soon after.

With the new File It: Party stamps, it was very simple to organize our idea on paper and begin to create. We started with the File It notes index stamped onto a Stationery Organizer index die.  Then we chose the labels that we wanted for our Event Details and stamped them onto the index. Here you can see how we captured a snapshot of the event…the who, what, why, and always important how much!

What we love about these, are that you can quickly pop out an index card and take it with you in case you need to match fabric to your color story, or remember how many guests to buy food for or number of favor bags to prep. Indexes are great for on the go, and for building a portfolio of work all at the same time.

The very first item we created was the banner die cut using the Large Print Alpha dies strung on 24 Karat Gold cord. It was a close tie between “sha-zaam” and “kapow”…as you can see “kapow” won. And this shiny gold banner definitely packs a punch!

Now that we had our signature phrase all set, we were ready to make invitations.

The File It: Party set has several options for indexing your ideas. We used one for creating the invitations.

As you can see “kapow” was a key ingredient to our card design.

Each invitation came with a “Super Hero Guide” book. These perfect bound notebooks are a fun way for the girls to practice writing by creating their super hero personalities – What kind of powers do they have? Where are they from? What kind of things does their super hero like to do?

While at the party, we have activities that double as party favors and snack time. Each girl will create their personal super hero cup and snack container.

The Super Hero cups have a gold die cut mask from Build-a-Critter: Raccoon/Fox and a gold die cut cape using the Build-a-Rag Doll: Girl. We love when we can discover a new purpose for our CSS dies!

For the snack cup we die cut the Party Favor 13, trimmed off the tops, and stamped the base with the Comic Burst background. A Pink (010) Simple Felt die cut burst was added as an embellishment. Simple, yet fun projects that will keep little hands busy, and stretch your party planning dollars.
