We have loved alphabets since we were little singing along with the “Alphabet Song” on Sesame Street! Whether it is creating monograms, custom sentiments, or for learning purposes – creating with alphabets can be so much fun. This week features ideas creating with CSS Alphabet stamps and/or dies. We are sharing projects created with the theme {All About the Alphabets}…

“B” is for Baby

In thinking about our ABC’s we naturally wanted to create a pair of baby cards. We reached for the new Large Print Alphas to make a big statement on each card.

“B” is for baby is a fun play on letters, and a great theme for a baby shower. You can bring in all sorts of “B” items to help create a full on shower. Here we choose a gender neutral color to stamp the Gingham background for the large letter “B”.

Next we die cut a banner from linen fabric paper using the Favor Flags dies, and stamped it with the “B” is for baby sentiment from Punny Baby in I Steel Got It ink, which is great for stamping on fabric. The cute little teddy bear from Cart Pals: Baby was stamped, colored, cut out, and adhered behind the banner.

For this next project, we had fun creating interlocking letters. We love the layered looked of large letters but didn’t want it to be too bulky. To solve for this, we double cut the letters for an inlaid appearance.

A little linen fabric bow was die cut using the Bow Trio: Mini, and adhered to the inlaid sentiment. We love how the linen bow is the perfect match for the subtle Gingham background stamped in Pressed Greige Linen ink.

Try using your CSS stamps and dies to create alphabet inspired projects…
