Collection 4

In case you are just joining us for the Collection 4 release week, here is a quick recap to bring you up to date: (day 1) By the Glass; (day 2) Seaside Summer; (day 3) Tags/Edgers/Borders; (day 4) Shapes + Borders; (day 5) Sweet Treats; (day 6) Toppers and Favors.

Today, we are releasing the {Rag Dolls} series. There are several components that make up today’s collection, so grab a little cuppa something warm and tasty, as we introduce you to our newest line of Rag Dolls! There are a few fun things you should know about the Rag Doll sets and we will point them out along the way. Let’s take a closer look… Rag Dolls is a collection of adorable character stamps that were designed with a likeness to those sweet hand-stitched rag dolls many of us had as children.  Illustrator Stephany Zerbe, gave each doll such personality and charm, that we know you will love them as much as we do!

Our Rag Dolls live in a very hip and trendy community. After all, they need a place to stay, a place to meet up with their friends, and play.

Rag Dolls House ($24)

  • The house image measures 3 1/2″ x 3 7/8″ – and fits perfectly on a card front
  • Mix and match house images to create different scenes for all seasons

Rag Dolls House: Shop ($24)

  • The shop image measures the same as the house
  • Banners coordinate with Favor Flags die cuts
  • Mix and match images and sentiments to create different scenes

Rag Dolls House: Stand ($24)

  • The stand image measures the same as the house
  • Mix and match images and sentiments to create different scene

Rag Dolls House Die Cut ($12)

  • This die cut coordinates with the house, shop, and stand

Before we start to share the Rag Dolls themselves, we wanted to introduce a few basics that will stretch the potential of your stamp sets.

Rag Dolls Basics ($5)

  • Traditional Rag Dolls are hand-stitched, some with mouths and some without. When designing these sets we decided to create a stitched mouth as an optional image that you can add or omit based on your own personal preference.
  • This set contains (2) styles of mouths in two sizes
  • There are also (2) pairs of shoes: a dressy pair for the girls, and a cute set of sneakers that can be used for either boy or girl Rag Dolls
  • You can easily add a ground line with this fun sidewalk image

Rag Dolls Hats ($15)

  • A variety of hat styles that can be used with any of the Rag Dolls as a cute accessory.
  • They can easily be colored or paper pieced
  • Hats come in different sizes to work with the different sizes of hair styles on the Rag Dolls

Are you catching Rag Doll fever yet?  How cute are those houses and accessories? As we continue with today’s reveal you will notice that the Rag Dolls are grouped by name. There are (7) Rag Dolls – each with a style all their own. Within each Rag Doll grouping, you will notice that some will say “combo” in the name. If you are new to CSS, this means that it comes with a coordinating die cut included!

Yes, each Rag Doll Combo set has the coordinating Rag Doll die cut included in the set.

We had so much fun creating all of the pieces for the Rag Doll Ensembles. Each ensemble includes:

  • (1) Child’s T-shirt – we stamped the solid sentiment from each Rag Doll on the right side of the shirt. It was then rolled up neatly and tucked in side the die cut base from Party Favor 4. A clear cover was created and a coordinating band and tag added with a bit of twine.
  • (1) Decorated Water Bottle – the band was created using background bars and the cute hang tag from Tags 2
  • (1) Notecard – we stamped the polaroid from from the Crafty Sentiments set, masked in each Rag Doll image, and colored with our Copic Trio sets
  • (1) Candy Treat Bag with Topper – you can never go wrong with colored coordinated m&m’s packaged in a 2″ Clear Candy Bag.

OMG! Rag Doll MANIA… love it! I love, love, love that each doll is in the Polaroid image. SO AWESOME! And little Jake started it all off. How cool he is with his red hair and all that green around him. Nice use of the CSS rainbow of cardstock. Genius! I’m grinning from ear to ear. Great series post!!!!
