COLLECTION 3 RELEASE IN REVIEW

Something is a buzz at Clear and Simple Stamps! Today kicks off our bi-monthly Release in Review days.  With each growing release, we love to take time out and review all of the new products, point out fun tips and tricks, and share lots of inspiration along the way. Let’s get started and take a closer look at the {Shapes and Backgrounds} from Collection 3…

This past month we released (2) fab shapes – Hexagons and Triangles. These geometric shapes will soon be (if not already) a must have in your CSS stamping stash. For today’s project we chose to use the Shapes: Hexagons die cut combo set. The combo sets make creating tags and labels easy and perfectly coordinated. Each combo set includes the stamps and matching die cuts as one complete set. You can even store your dies right in the packaging with the sets, so you never have to search for them!

We have said this many times before – “little things can make a big impact”. Take little stamp images for example. Most often we look at them and wonder how to use those little images. For our purposes, we used the little bee and flourish to create an iconic logo.

In addition to the great shapes, we also released Labels 11. This label style not only comes as a die cut/stamp set combo as well, but it also coordinates with the Au Naturel Extras set from the current collection. We love to create with sets that can seamlessly coordinate and expand your creative possibilities.

Labels can create great packaging.  We used Labels 11 that was scored in the middle to create a flat bottom 1/4″ wide. Tucked inside we have two tea bags in a food safe bag. We replicated the stamping that is on the candle tag onto the label so that the tea caddy would compliment the candle as a nice gift set.

Other labels in the release include frame options for Labels 9, which can be found in Trinket Sentiments, Simply Stated 1, Simply Stated 2, and Stars and Stripes. Stay tuned for more Release in Review projects…
