For many today sparks the start of your Summer holiday, the end of another school year, but most importantly (here in the states) today is a special day to pay tribute and honor the men and women who have given their lives in service to our country. We celebrate their memories, and extend our unwavering gratitude for their ultimate sacrifices…

We went with a slight variation of the traditional Red, White and Blue to create a graphic style Memorial Day card. A fun play on stars and stripes with a lined notebook page card base, and starry envelope insert continue the patriotic theme.

When creating for holidays, we love to have our decorations double as party favors.  Fill each of these cubes with sweet treats and you have an instant 2-for-1 project! We hope you enjoy your Memorial Day holiday…

Style Watch

Summer is upon us and I can’t help but be in a nautical state of mind. Our CSS Daily Designs campaign continues here at Clear and Simple Stamps, with 25 Days of Inspiration. It’s day 22, and we taking our craft room on a field trip to the beach…

Clear and Simple Stamps has a ton of Seaside products and supplies that fit right into this theme. One of my favorites is the Nautical Flags set that allows you to create sentiments in a totally new and fun way.

For today’s Style Watch edition, I’ve created a few simple projects with all the trappings of seaside summers and sunshine.

Did you know that the Nautical Flags set doubles as an alphabet set? Each flag represents a letter in the alphabet, as a code used in boating. In true Clear and Simple Stamps style, your packaging includes an index so you will know which letter of the alphabet coordinates with each flag.

Today’s project is brought to you by designer Jennifer Rzasa:

“My project today is inspired by Boston! I made this fun gift box by printing a photo I took overlooking the Charles River onto Blanc Check cardstock. From there, it was easy to line up the box lid from the Party Favor 2 die and run it through my machine. The small rhinestone perfectly accents the nighttime scene! My app project today is a card inspired by my favorite city, and features my interpretation of an iconic Boston landmark – be sure to check it out.”
