Clear and Simple Stamps | Hello Fall Stationery

Bring on the sweater weather, we are so ready for Fall. While we may still be a few weeks early ushering in the change of seasons, we just can’t help ourselves…we love Fall! Anybody else out there look forward to the crunch of leaves, change in colors, smell of pumpkin spice and apple pie wafting through the air? We pretty much transform the studio into an Autumn wonderland. Which certainly helps get you in the mood to create pretty stationery like this Hello Fall card…

We kept the design simple using the Leaflets stamp set. We love the huge variety of leaves that come in the set. Twenty-five leaf images to be exact, which provides so many fab options. You can also purchase the coordinating set of Leaflet dies for even more creative designs.

One of our faves about Fall has to be the beautiful colors. We chose a mix of yellow and brown tones to stamp our leaf images. We started by stamping in the lighter Y-02 | Golden Tiara color first then gently dabbing it in the darker Y-03 | Bronze Spotlight color for added interest. The pretty contrast in colors gives a nice bit of depth and interest to the card.

Next we stamped a subtle grid pattern from the Airmail stamp set in GY-02 | I Steel Got It onto a strip of N-01| A Blanc Check cardstock. We added a sentiment from the Icons Sentiment stamp set in BR-01 | Dish All the Dirt Brown ink, and popped the sentiment onto the stamped panel with foam tape. We really love to mix patterns for giving simple, delicate details to stationery.
