Foodie Fun Series

____________________________________________________________________

If you are new to Clear and Simple Stamps releases, we pack in a ton of new inspiration each and every day.  Release days carry a theme, and today we are introducing the {Foodie Fun Series} – a collection of food inspired stamps.

There is a lot to see, we hope you will pull up a chair and stay a while!

  • Foodie Fun {$24}
  • Includes (37) stamps
  • Coordinates Foodie Fun Sentiments and Party Elements: BBQ

It’s no secret, where there are food inspired stamps, there is bound to be fun had by all! We selected just a trio of images to create with for this set of cards, but there are more than 20+ options for food pairings.

We stamped the ice cream cone, french fries, and peanut butter and jelly onto a 2.75″ panel of A Blanc Check cardstock. Each panel was then adhered to a 3″ square Dare to be a Diva Red card base. The sentiment “I Heart” was stamped onto a die cut Favor Flags banner, and popped up overlapping the image….simple, sweet, and cute enough to eat!

With so many punny sentiments, we had a blast coming up with favor ideas. We chose the sentiment “We Go Together Like…salt + pepper” and created a jar of rosemary infused salt and a coordinating card. This would be a perfect favor for a wedding or engagement party.  The bride an groom could easily created these together!

We started with an empty spice jar, and sprigs of rosemary and kosher salt in a large skillet. We sauteed the salt for a few minutes, then set it aside in an airtight container to let the herbs infuse overnight. The next day we remove the sprigs and crumb new rosemary into the mix. With a funnel, we poured the infused salt into the spice jar. Can we just say the room smelled so delicious!

From there we cut a large circle from Kraft Like a Rockstar gift wrap (yes, we sell color coordinated gift wrap – it’s great for so much more than wrapping gifts!) We laid the circle on top of the spice jar lid, and pleated the edges to create a nice edge. The wrap was held in place with a length of Natural Cotton Twine, and a simple tag die cut from Cre’me de la Cream cardstock using a Tags 1 die. a frame from Trendy Tags was stamped in You’re Such a Gray-cious Host ink, and the sentiment in Perfect Little Black Dress ink.

The coordinating card, is a fun visual play on words with a loving pair of salt and pepper shakers from Foodie Fun.

  • Party Elements: BBQ {$24}
  • Includes (44) stamps
  • Coordinates Foodie Fun and Foodie Fun Sentiments

Summertime means lots of grillin’ time! We are smitten with the build-able burger and hot dog in this set. its a fun way to use your Clear and Simple Stamps Hybrid Inks to make a statement on your BBQ invitation.

To stamp the burger, you start with the bottom bun stamped in Brown Leather Satchel ink. Next the lettuce in Glamazon Green ink. Then the burger in Dish All the Dirt Brown ink. Followed by the cheese in Golden Tiara ink. Then a slice of tomato stamped in Dare to be a Diva Red ink. And topped of with the sesame seed bun in Brown Leather Satchel ink.

For our invitation, we mixed in the party sentiment within the layers of the burger on the Tags 2 hang tag. The details are enclosed in the Mini Tri-Fold 2.

  • Party Favor 10 {$26}
  • Includes (1) pc for easy assembly
  • Fry Box style die

Mini cards are always cute and fun to make…but they are even more fun when packaged up in an equally cute and fun to make favor box.

The Party Favor 10 was die cut from A Blanc Check cardstock, and assembled. once assembled thin strips of cardstock were adhered to the bottom right side of the favor box to coordinate with the mini cards – Purplicious, Say Yellow to All Your Fans, Dish All the Dirt Brown. A decorative tail Bow Trio: Mini was added to the front center of the favor.

  • Party Favor 11 {$27}
  • Includes (1) pc for easy assembly
  • Small Tray Box Style Die

This small tray style favor die comes in handy for all sorts of goodies. For our little favor we quickly filled it with a trio of tasty macarons – we love seeing the bright colors against the subtle neutral tones of the favor box!

The favor was die cut from Pressed Greige Linen cardstock, and then stamped in From an Anonymous Source ink with the pretty lace border from Background Basics 3, which is releasing later in the week. The image was sprinkled with white embossing powder and then heat set. Once assembled, we slide the favor inside the 3″ Flat Bottom Clear Candy bag.

A Favor Flag was die cut and stamped with a sentiment in Perfect Little Black Dress ink. A Sterling Silver cording was threaded through the tag and secured to the A Blanc Check ribbon tie into a bow at the top of the bag.

  •  Party Favor 12 {$24}
  • Includes (1) pc for easy assembly
  • Tray Box Style Die

Every summer our family gets together on the weekends to do a little berry picking at the local farms in Maryland and Pennsylvania. We each have baskets with our names on them and head out for a little adventure early Saturday mornings. When we first created this Party Favor 12 die, we immediately thought this would be a great way to share the fruits of our labor!

We die cut several baskets from Kraft Like a Rockstar cardstock, to have on hand, and as needed we filled them with fresh picked berries for sharing. This is our blackberry basket. A cute little Favor Flag banner was added with the name of the berry from the Perfect Harvest Sentiments set, and a fun die cut berry created with the Perfect Harvest stamp and coordinating Mini Fruit die.

  • Party Favor 13 {$32}
  • Includes (1) pc for easy assembly
  • Take Out Box Style Die

We love the functional style of this party favor. After die cutting Party Favor 13 from Creamsicle Cardigan cardstock, we created a perfectly sized cradle for gifting summer succulents by simply turning the box flaps inward.

We wanted to include a tag, so we decided to paint a popsicle stick white, stamp the sentiment “Hello Summer” from Party Elements: BBQ in From an Anonymous Source (watermark/emboss) ink, and heat embossed it with black embossing powder. To complete the favor we couldn’t resist our signature Bow Trio: Mini in a fun summery striped pattern.

  •  By the Glass Jr {$24}
  • Includes (15) stamps
  • Coordinates with By the Glass Jr Too, By the Glass Jr Dies, and By the Glass Jr Sentiments

We’ve taken one of our popular sets and created a version for pint-sized sippers.

Got Milk? Of course you do…but do you have strawberry flavored milk straws? We picked up a package of these adorable milk straws, and knew we could easily create fun party favors that are inexpensive and fun.

Since each package comes with (6) straws, you can create individual packaging by sliding one straw into a 1″ Clear Candy Bag. Then die cut a 1″ Topper from A Blanc Check cardstock. We stamped our Topper with stripes using Designer Lines in I’m a Princess Pink ink to coordinate with the strawberry flavor. Recognize that cute cow? We stamped him from the By the Glass Jr set in Brown Leather Satchel ink, trimmed him out and adhered him to the stamped Favor Flag.

  • By the Glass Jr Too {$24}
  • Includes (11) stamps
  • Coordinates with By the Glass Jr, By the Glass Jr Dies, and By the Glass Jr Sentiments

Juicing is all the craze these days…but we are really excited about stamping cute little juice box images! By just using the filler images you can still create a juice box without having to use the outline image. We stamped the polka dot filler in I’m a Princess Pink ink, and the straw and heart images in Paint the Town Pink ink.

We pulled out our Kraft Like a Rockstar Gift Wrap to create a custom wrapper for the juice box. The wrapper was stamped in You’re Such a Gray-cious Host ink using the Lattice grid background.

Once the juicebox was covered, we wrapped it with Vintage Label Lilac ribbon and slid the straw on the side under the bow.

  • By the Glass Jr Dies {$20}
  • Includes (6) dies
  • Coordinates with By the Glass Jr and By the Glass Jr Too

Coordinating dies create a simple way to make double duty hang tags. By die cutting each twice and adhering them together along a scored seam, you instantly create a miniature card to sign your name or add a greeting.

Remember after school snacks? We loved coming home to special treats…in fact we were known as the house that always had little goodies for guests. Feeling a little nostaglic, we created a mini milk and cookies favor. The Party Favor 10 was die cut from Glamazon Green cardstock, and filled with miniature chocolate chip cookies. The mini milk bottle has a cut die cut hang tag of the pint size milk carton image, and of course a stripey straw.

This set offers so many options for sentiments that coordinate with the By the Glass Jr sets. We chose to go with a fun baby sentiment and stamped it directly onto the card base.

We masked the sentiment and stamped the bottle filler images in Trendsetter Blue and You’re Such a Gray-cious Host ink. A length of Say Yellow to All your Fans ribbon was added and tied into a bow.

  • Let’s Bake {$24}
  • Includes (23) stamps
  • Coordinates with Let’s Bake: Macarons and Let’s Bake: Sentiments

Our love of baking meets our love for crafting in the Let’s Bake set of stamps. It includes a variety of baking tool images that are a delight to stamp and create projects.

Here we picked to work with the mixer image in the outline version colored in a bright summer yellow using our Copic Marker Trios. The image was trimmed out and adhere to the card base, with a simple sentiment stamped below.

To package the card we slide the card inside a Kraft Paper Sac on its side, and folded over the excess to create a fun twist on an envelope. To close the paper sac securely, we wrapped the note card with Natural Cotton Twine.

A coordinating tag added and the twine tied into a knot.  The tag was die cut from A Blanc Check cardstock using a Tags 2 die. The bottom of the tag was stamped with the Diamond Grid background in My Style Blueprint ink, and the top stamped with the mixer image in Say Yellow to All Your Fans ink.

To say we love macarons is a complete understatement! These sweet meringue confections have completely replaced our obsession with cupcakes. So much so that we have become self-proclaimed macaron taste testers around the CSS office! But don’t take our word for how delicious they are – take a peek at any bridal magazine and you will find wedding cakes and candy buffets adorned with them in a rainbow of colors, sizes, and styles.

Macarons are perfect favors for a wedding or anniversary party. Here we die cut a Cube favor from clear cardstock, and assembled it with our 1/4″ Simple Adhesive.

A little paper filler in the bottom serves as a nice resting spot for a single serve macaron. (This flavor happens to be melon from the Laduree shop in New York City. Trust us, we will travel the globe for macarons – they are that good!)

A Favor Flags is die cut and stamped with a sweet little heart from Tweet Notes in Dare to be a Diva Red ink. We repeated the same sweet heart on the stamped stack of macarons.

First stamped with the outline image, then each macaron was stamped again with the filler image to add color. Once trimmed out, the macarons are adhere to a stamped card base the reads: “True Love is Sweet” in a repeated pattern in Pressed Greige Linen ink.

Since we have a true addiction to all baked goods, it seemed only right to create with a fun baking-inspired sentiments set. Included are a variety of fun sayings and simple labels for creating favors, stationery, and even for creating samples for tastings.

Here we combined Party Favor 5 with a Favor Flags sentiment banner, and a die cut oven mitt from the Oven die. The background used on both the favor and the card is Distressed Linen stamped in Pressed Greige Linen ink.

The card is created from Kraft Like a Rockstar cardstock. We went with a kraft on kraft look by die cutting Labels 13 (hint – coming soon) and stamping the sentiment and background in I Steel Got It ink. A bit of Copic marker was added to the teaspoon image to create some shadowing. and a cute trail of hearts was stamped in Dare to be a Diva Red ink. The stamped layer was then adhered a Favor Flag die cut from Dare to be a Diva Red cardstock, and then adhered to the card base.

  • Oven Die {$95}
  • Includes (10) very easy to assemble pieces
  • Oven style die box with functional door

What a fun day filled with so many foodie inspired stamps and dies! With our last reveal from day 1 we are beyond excited to announce our Oven die.

This oven comes with several pieces that you can choose to customize or keep it CAS-style like we did, and create it in all white. Our signature Clear and Simple Stamps design allows for a functioning oven door that can house sweet treats or a special set of mini note cards.

These thank you cards are just shy of 3″ square. We started by stamping the Comic Book background to cover the entire cad base in You’re a Natural Darling ink.

Next a circle die was cut from A Blanc Check cardstock using a Shapes: Circles die. The cute, solid mixer image was then stamped in My Style Blueprint ink and adhere to the center of the card base.

A Favor Flag was die cut from I’m a Princess Pink cardstock, stamped with a sentiment from Party Elements: BBQ in Perfect Little Black Dress and adhered to the stamped circle.
