What’s that old saying…”April showers bring May flowers”? Well today, we are pushing fast forward right past those rainy days and having fun with a new floral set that has been added to the CSS Favorites collection: Build-a-Flower. You may be very familiar with the coordinating Build-a-Flower dies as seen in this post or this one, and we are happy to release a matching stamp set.
In addition, we also have a special guest (or two) joining in today’s release day fun…
- Build-a-Flower {$15}
- Set includes twelve images and two sentiments
- Set coordinates with the Build-a-Flower dies

Happy Thoughts

Springtime definitely brings about happy thoughts. We love having fresh cut flowers in the office and longer, warmer days. So we wanted to capture a little bit of spring, package it up, and send happy thoughts on their way with a fun note card set.
The big blooms in the Build-a-Flower set make creating a background a breeze. Once the blooms and leaves were stamped, each bloom was masked off and the entire panel was stamped with a grid pattern from the Lattice set.
For the largest bloom, it was die cut from the Build-a-Flower dies and then stamped with the coordinating image and adhered with dimensionals. A sentiment was then added to complete the card.
Instead of our A4 Envies, we opted for a soft, natural, muslin fabric bag. The bag was stamped with a single bloom to coordinate with the card. A sentiment was stamped below the bloom and a Tags 1 hang tag tied to the strings.
All packaged and ready to go – happy thoughts coming your way!

The Challenge
____________________________________________________________________
As part of today’s fun release, we are joined by Chaitali Narla and our very own Style Watch editor, Amber Kemp-Gerstel for an exciting Iron Craft challenge – a crafters take on the popular cooking show “Iron Chef”, where each chef is given a set of identical ingredients to work his or her magic.
Well, Chaitali has taken this concept from the kitchen to the craft room with a fun Build-a-Flower edition. Be sure to visit both ladies as they go head to head using the new Build-a-Flower stamp set and coordinating dies. Let the battle of the craft rooms begin!
Hop on over to see the Iron Craft Challenge {here}.
