{Spread the Love Campaign}

Have you seen this post? At Clear and Simple Stamps, we are all about Spreading the Love this week. Blogger Ciera Holzenthal, of the blog {Ciera Design}, is joining us today to share a super fun project that will make you look at felt in an exciting new way.

Ciera is a graphic designer and blogger who loves photography, traveling, the color green, typography, New Orleans, festivals and keyboard shortcuts. is a lifestyle and design blog where Ciera shares her adventures as a freelance graphic designer and everything that exhilarates her as an artist. She loves sharing DIY projects, photography, home decor, arts and crafts, inspired living, and all things graphic design.

And she is joining us today to share more about her “blog crush” and fabby project…

Today I’m sharing a DIY project inspired by my blog crush, Designlovefest. Although there are many blogs I love, today I chose Designlovefest because Bri is an inspiring blogger, an amazing graphic designer and also teaches blogging and video workshops. She has such a clear picture of her own brand and it is inspiring to see her continuing to take her businesses to the next level. Bri always has absolutely beautiful cocktail recipes and DIY projects on her blog so I thought a fun geometric coaster would be a great DIY tribute to her!

There are 6 color schemes to work with (you can see them all here along with all the Spread the Love campaign details).  Here’s the one I chose to work with:

I used squares cut from Simple Felt in Natural (026) for the base and then covered them with die cut hexagons from Shapes: Hexagons in a contrasting color – Mauve (013). You can easily adapt this DIY project to work with any color scheme!

Visit Ciera Holzenthal’s blog {Ciera Designs} to learn how she created these geometric beauties. You’ll also want to check out her blogger inspiration, Design Love Fest for even more eye candy. Then pop on by to Damask Love, link up your inspired projects and continue to Spread the Love – we want to know who is your “blog crush”?!
