Today, is a very special day at Clear and Simple Stamps, we have made the choice to “go green” and revitalize our current CSS color line. You will see a few new colors and some vintage colors no longer being offered, in an effort to provide product made from renewable contents. All of the color coordinated products are made in the USA. The paper comes from mills that practice responsible, sustainable forestry while manufacturing the highest quality paper products on the market. These mills are powered by renewable energy sources, and our paper products are made of 100% recycled content with 30% PCW (post-consumer waste). We are very pleased to announce our commitment to incorporate environmental practices into our daily crafting…

To help outline the new color line, we have a CSS Color Matrix PDF that you can download.

We now have coordinating hybrid ink, cardstock, ribbon, A2 + A4 envelopes, and gift wrap – yes even gift wrapping! How exciting that your holiday gifts can perfectly coordinate and become even more personalized.

Winter Journey

We love to plan our color combinations with patterns and texture, it’s always exciting to see how you can take raw materials and create a gift ensemble. We keep a little rolodex of colors on our desks so that we can quickly create fun combos when working on projects.

Once we identify colors we then gather together a small inspiration board where we add in textures and patterns.

Its so fun to see how raw materials can turn into a complete project.

    • The Peaceful Pines stamp set was the perfect compliment to our inspiration pieces.
    • We used Kraft Like a Rockstar gift wrap as the starting point for today’s project. The natural look of the paper, reminds of winter at a cabin.
    • We added in Kraft Like a Rockstar Green ink + cardstock, Cre’me de la Cream cardstock, and Dish the Dirt Brown ink to complete our color story.

You may notice that the inside of our envelope is decorated as well. In addition to the amazing color line that includes coordinating hybrid ink, cardstock, ribbon, gift wrap, and A2 + A4 envelopes. We are also releasing Envelope Liner Dies in both the A2 and A4 sizes to create beautifully decorated envelopes to coordinate with your note cards.

I can’t tell you how excited I am to see that you’ve adopted new, “green” sources for your paper products. I have been wishing for high quality cardstock made in an environmentally responsible way since I started card making, and I will be placing my first order to try it out very soon. I’m especially thrilled to see that the papers are 100% recycled with 30% PCW. It will be nice to have the option of color-coordinated envelopes that meet those standards, as well! Thank you so much for your commitment to this important issue!
