Collection 4: Sweet Celebrations

It’s Release Day 5, and we have whipped up something extra sweet to share with you today. Collection 4 has such an amazing inventory of fabulous new products, that we are making the release available to you as soon as you see it. That’s right, each day during our release week we will be adding brand new products to the store. Our new collection consists of (7) different series that we will continue showcase over the next few days.

In case you are just joining us for the Collection 4 release week, here is a quick recap to bring you up to date: (day 1) By the Glass; (day 2) Seaside Summer; (day 3) Tags/Edgers/Borders; (day 4) Shapes + Borders.  Today, we are releasing the {Sweet Treats} series. It includes (1) sentiment set, (4) die cuts, and (4) stamp sets to tempt your sweet tooth. Let’s take a closer look…

Cake Die Cut ($5)

• A single cake die cut measures 2 3/8″ x 2 3/4″
• Coordinates with Cake Decorating, Cake Decorating Extras, and Cake Decorating Too

Cake Decorating ($24)

• A builder cake set with images for adding various decorations
• Tiny sentiments fit inside the cake top banners

• A coordinating cake builder set with filler images
• Stacked sentiments fit the cake image and die cut

Cupcake Stands Die Cuts ($30)

• A set of cupcake stand die cuts
• Includes 2 size: regular and mini
• Top tabs add balance and support to hold real cupcakes
• Top platform has scored lines, if you choose to fold down the scalloped edges

Cupcake Wrappers Die Cuts ($20)

• A set of cupcake wrapper die cuts
• Includes 2 sizes: regular and mini with self closure tabs
• Cupcake wrappers have a decorative stitch detail along top and bottom edge – provides a nice clean look if you decide to use them without adding any stamped or embossed details.

{BUTTON CAKE}

The options in the Cake Decorating sets are endless.  We settled in with the idea to use the cute button topper for the cake to create a fun button cake, for a baby shower.

What we love about these topper details, is that there is no masking required.  Simply stamp the cake plate, the cake, and buttons to create a perfect cake. You can dress them up with more topper details, or leave it simple and sweet

Since we created this card with a shower theme in mind, we had to add a fun little favor.  The new Cube die cut makes the most adorable favor treat.  We die cut the Cube in the same On the Catwalk Cream cardstock, wrapped it with twine, secured with a button and added a flag banner.

We had fun creating this button cake and favor ensemble. You could very easily switch out the “congratulations” sentiment and stamp “you’re invited” to make it into an invitation, or “thank you” for your guests.

{SEASIDE APOTHECARY}

We love it when our stamps work together! Here we combined a few elements from our Seaside Summer series and our Apothecary stamps and die cuts.

The card base was stamped with the background quote in On the Catwalk Cream ink.

The apothecary jars were die cut and stamped with the jar frames and the seashell collages. A black banner flag was adhere to the card base and the jars were adhered on top of the banner with dimensionals. We stamped a simple sentiment in Rouge Ruffles ink for a punch of color.

{SNOWCONE CUPCAKES}

Couture cupcakes are everywhere – and why not, they are super fun, and absolutely adorable.  We had a little fun today creating a fun Snowcone Cupcake ensemble.

We started off by adding a fun striped Cupcake Wrapper to the snowcone cupcake.  The cupcake wrapper was cut from Say Yellow to All Your Fans cardstock, then stamped with striped from the Designer Lines stamp set in Say Yellow To All Your Fans ink.  We wanted something subtle since the cupcake is so colorful and fun.

You can see here that the Cupcake Wrapper has a tuck tab flap, which holds the wrapper securely in place. no adhesive required – love that!

For the card we wanted to replicate the look of our cupcake.  We pulled out the Triangle Trinkets set to create our snowcone, and the By the Glass set to add the stripey straw. We colored the image with a few copics to create a sort of tie-dyed snowcone look.

The card base was stamped with the same striped background and the stamped panel was adhered right adjusted with dimensionals for a sweet summer treat ensemble.
