COLLECTION 3 PREVIEW

We all scream for ice scream! And add in an extra squeal for these super fabulous background and sentiment sets releasing tomorrow as part of Collection 3. We are one day away from another exciting collection reveal that is definitely packed with a few sweet surprises…

Yummy Ice Cream Bowls

Earlier in the week we shared a peek at the new Imprint plate {here}. We are also happy to announce that there is a background stamp with the same fun design.  This background can be repeated on all for sides that can create a subtle or bold design.  For today’s project we went with big, bold color.

We wanted to create a set of custom, decorated ice cream cups to go with our Ice Cream themed party for release week. With a few simple steps, we took plain white paper cups and transformed them into perfectly coordinated treat cups. You will first want to flatten each cup so that you can stamp your design.  Reshape the cups once the stamping is complete. Then use a fresh cup to hold the ice cream and place inside the decorated cup for a polished look.

Finish off the treat cup by adding a thin 1/4″ strip of color coordinated cardstock around the rim with Simple Adhesive. We also stamped a small wooden spoon with the sweet sentiment “yummy”.  The full sentiment reads “yummy to the tummy”, so we masked off the part of the sentiment we didn’t use. We then added a cute squiggly, dashed line to complete the design.
