Ice Cream Dreams

Now you may wonder, “how do ice cream cones, flowers and butterflies all go together?” Well it’s very simple with our new Imprints Plates. That’s right, we are introducing the very first in a series of an amazing new product – Imprints. Intricate designs are deeply etched into metal plates that can then be run through your standard die cutting machine with the appropriate mats and pads to create beautiful, detailed imprints.

Imprints 1 has (2) sides that coordinate seamlessly with sets from Collection 3. For today’s project we are sharing a peek at side 1, which has a lovely floral collage.

Plain typing paper was cut into four squares, then imprinted with the floral image. A template to create the paper wrapper for the ice cream cones was drawn onto the imprinted squares and cut to size. A strip of Simple Adhesive secured the paper cones.

For a bit of fun, decorative detail we added a logo heart tab from the Flowers set.  We thought the cute heart bloom made for a great logo on our ice cream cones. Each cone was dipped in icing and rolled in white jimmies. Guests can grab a cone and choose to fill it with popcorn, candy, or any flavor ice cream of their choice.
