October Stamp of the Month

It’s World Card Making Day, and we are celebrating with two fabulous stamp sets, a free bonus set, (3) new App designers to introduce to you, a fun announcement, and our first ever retirement list of goodies. So get ready for one jam-packed WCMD blog post full of CSS fun…

Where shall we begin? How about with (2) brand spanking new stamp sets – Craft Room and Crafty Sentiments.  You may notice something is a little different about these sets….that’s right they are larger sets. And not only are they larger, but they are the debut stamp sets for design team member Stephany Zerbe. You will find her playful, clean style among several new sets releasing in 2012, but we thought today would be the perfect day to share these two crafty sets.

Many of you may know Stephany’s work from Caardvarks, her blog Steph Zerbe Designs, or her many published works on the CSS Daily App. We are thrilled to announce that Stephany has joined CSS as an illustrator, and this is just a peek at the many fun, fabulous sets to come. We wanted to use the fun little ribbon image in a different way.  So we masked the ribbon to fit inside the polaroid,  dressed it up with a fun rolled flower image, and finished it off with a simple sentiment. For the envie, that background stamp, which is a favorite around here and among the design team, was the perfect touch to create a coordinating liner. Besides it is not too out of the ordinary for us to whip our iPhones and take a picture of some cute ribbon we might see while out shopping….we can’t be the only ones obsessed with ribbon, right? *smiles*
